President Nana Akufo-Addo celebrates with Pope John SHS on their 60th
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has echoed the need for Ghana’s leadership to start translating words into action to enable the country realise its developmental aspirations.
He said the Government could not make every citizen rich but with the political will, it could create the environment for equal opportunities for all, hence the Free Senior High School (SHS) Policy.
The president was speaking the 60th Anniversary Celebration of Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary at Koforidua, which was under the theme: “Transformational Leadership, 60 Years of Academic Excellence.”
Dignitaries who were also present at the anniversary celebration included the Minister for Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Deputy Minister for Communication, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the metropolitan archbishop of Accra, the Most Reverend Charles Palmer Buckle and many others.
