The Queen of Belgium and the deputy Prime Minister of Belgium visit Teshie Presbyterian SHS

The Queen of Belgium, Her Majesty Mathilde and the deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo visit Teshie Presbyterian Senior High School.

The delegation in the company of the Director General of Ghana Education Service, Prof. Kwasi Opoku Amankwah joined form 2 students of the school in a technology assisted science class. She was happy to see the students take an interest in science and encouraged them to chase their dreams.

At the request of the former UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, Queen Mathilde has been the “Champion” of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) since 2016 and has been traveling around to inspect the progress countries are making to attain their SDGs.

Her Majesty Mathilde is in Ghana on a three-day mission upon the invitation of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
