The implementation of Free SHS has indeed, produced a lot of graduates from Senior High Schools who will end up in a tertiary institution thus, the increase in the Gross Tertiary Enrollment Ratio (GTER).<\/div><\/div>
As a result, there is an urgent need for student hostel like this which I represented the president to commission at the University of Professional Studies Accra – UPSA on Tuesday 14th March, 2023.<\/div><\/div>
The facility which was named after the eminent designer of the nation’s Coat of Arms, the late Nii Amon Kotei is a 10-storey hostel complex with a 1664-bed capacity.<\/div><\/div>
It is also furnished with ultra-modern facilities such as study rooms, Junior Common Rooms (JCR), a recreational area, a laundry area, TV rooms, CCTV cameras, an elevator, Automated Teller Machine (ATM), just to mention a few.<\/div><\/div>
I applaud the Vice Chancellor and the leadership of UPSA for internally generating funds to finance this beautiful edifice.<\/div><\/div>
This step is worthy of commendation and worthy of emulation by all.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
