In an effort to address environmental concerns and promote sustainability in education, I attended the Greening Education Partnership meeting hosted by UNESCO at the ongoing Education World Forum in the United Kingdom – UK.<\/div><\/div>
The meeting brought together global leaders, educators, policy makers and environmental experts to discuss the role of education in tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development.<\/div><\/div>
The first day of the meeting emphasized the importance of educating young people about environmental issues and the need to incorporate sustainability into school curricula.<\/div><\/div>
I also attended an exhibition display that featured a wide range of projects and ideas that address climate change through various educational approaches.<\/div><\/div>
It is of no doubt that education has a major role in creating a generation of environmentally conscious citizens who are committed to preserving the planet for future generations.<\/div><\/div>
Also present at the meeting were Agency heads of the Ministry including Ghana Education Service – GES, Free Senior High School – FSHS, Technical and Vocational Education Training – TVET Services and National Council for Curriculum Assessment – NaCCA.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n
