Marking the launch of the 50th anniversary of the National Service Scheme, The Minister joined the President of the Republic, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in commemorating this significant milestone.<\/div><\/div>
The theme for the occasion, “Repositioning the Scheme for a Sustainable National Development,” reflects the commitment of the National Service Scheme to play a pivotal role in Ghana’s development agenda<\/div><\/div>
The National Service Scheme, established 50 years ago, has been a cornerstone in the nation’s drive towards holistic development. It has provided a platform for young graduates to contribute their quota to the progress of the nation while gaining invaluable experiences.<\/div><\/div>
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his address, lauded the invaluable contributions of the NSS towards the socio-economic development of Ghana over the past five decades.<\/div><\/div>
He emphasized the need to refocus and realign the scheme to address emerging challenges and seize new opportunities in the ever-evolving global landscape.<\/div><\/div>
In a brief remark, he\u00a0 applauded the scheme for its instrumental role in molding young leaders and contributing to the country’s growth.<\/div><\/div>
