CLOSURE OF SCHOOLS STILL IN FORCE
The Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has indicated that the closure of schools in the country is still in force.
This follows misconceptions following the President’s Address lifting the 3 week lockdown.

Dr. Prempeh has implored students with guidance from parents to continue to learn using the Distance Education Solutions the Ministry and GES have started rolling out.

Tune in to the Ghana Learning Channel (also on GoTV and DSTV), log in to iCampusGh (SHS students only) and also, use the Ghana Library Authority app to access various lessons, assessments and books‬.

MINISTRY OF EDUCATION RESPONSE TO PRESIDENTS DIRECTIVE

H. E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in his address to the nation on enhanced measures being taken to prevent the spread of the novice Coronavirus (COVID-19), issued out directives that saw the closure of all Universities, SHS, Basic Schools (both public and private) beginning on Monday 16th, March, 2020 until further notice.
