On Tuesday, I led a delegation to the 2025 UNESCO Digital Learning Week in Paris, where ministers and global educational leaders gathered to discuss the future of digital learning.
I reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into our educational system, as part of the country’s transformational agenda to revamp the education sector. I highlighted the progress made since 2019, including the integration of AI competencies into the basic education curriculum and the embedding of AI across STEM disciplines in basic, secondary, and tertiary institutions.
I further announced the launch of Ghana’s National AI Strategy, aimed at training one million youth in AI and ten thousand AI researchers by 2033.
