The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information, successfully organized a maiden STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) promotion road show on Thursday 22nd June, 2023 at Accra High School.
The event aimed to create awareness about the significance of STEM education and inspire students to pursue careers in these fields.
The roadshow received overwhelming participation from students and educators as well as distinguished guests, including the Minister of Information, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
He emphasized the importance of STEM education in driving innovation, economic growth, and sustainable development while my colleague Minister, Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah highlighted the need to equip Ghanaian students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The success of the maiden STEM promotion road show at Accra High School marks the beginning of a nationwide campaign to enhance STEM education in Ghana.
