As Chairperson for the Ghana Commission and Ghana’s representative member of the Executive Board of UNESCO, He led the Ghanaian delegation to the 5th Extraordinary General Conference of UNESCO on 29th and 30th June 2023.
The session was an Extraordinary one to discuss the important matter of the return of the United States of America to UNESCO as a member state.
The United States’ return is premised on UNESCO’s efforts to implement key management and administrative reforms, as well as its focus on decreasing politicized debate.
He look forward to a discussion and a decision that enhances the aims and objectives of UNESCO
